AlienGuards are made from your own impression, so there's no size chart. Here's how fit, tray sizes and thickness work.
No size chart
Your guard is formed on a model of your own teeth, so it fits you and only you. Just take your impression.
Tray sizes
Your kit includes trays in more than one size. Test each one and use the tray that covers all your teeth with a little room on the sides. S and M trays use one set of putty; L trays use two.
Athlete age
Tell us the athlete's age when you build. Younger athletes' teeth are still changing, so plan to replace their guard more often.
Thickness
4 mm or 5 mm?
Choose by how hard you get hit, not by the size of your mouth.
4 mm
Non-combat sports
Jiu-jitsu, wrestling, grappling, basketball, baseball and other sports where hits are less direct.
5 mm
Combat sports
Boxing, MMA, Muay Thai and other sports with heavy, direct strikes. Extra material absorbs more force.
