Football means contact on every snap, whether you're on the line, in the backfield or covering a kick. AlienGuards are custom-fit from an impression of your own teeth and made in the USA, so you get a guard shaped to your bite instead of a generic tray.

Choose your model

NanoBite ($94.99) is our football guard. It is ultra-slim and the best of our models for breathing and talking, so you can call signals between plays, and it can be customized with colors and text.

A guard you'll keep in

A custom guard is made from your impression, so it's more comfortable and secure than a store-bought guard. It doesn't slip or fall out, and it's easier to wear for a whole practice. Custom guards are thin and precise, so most athletes breathe and talk normally while wearing one.

Team colors and names

NanoBite comes in clear, white or black with custom text, such as a player's number or initials, so every guard is easy to find on the sideline. See mouthguard colors to match team uniforms. Team orders can add your team logo.

How ordering works

Build your guard online and we ship you an at-home impression kit. Taking the impression takes about 10 minutes, and the putty sets in 2 minutes 30 seconds; the impression guide walks you through it. Mail the impression back to our lab, and your guard is crafted within 10–14 business days after we receive a good impression, then shipped with tracking. Not sure your impression worked? Email a photo to support@alienguards.com and we will tell you if it can be used.

Care and replacement

Rinse your guard before and after each use, brush it gently with a soft toothbrush, and store it in a ventilated case away from heat; a hot car can change its shape. Replace it every year, or sooner if it's damaged or worn. There is no age limit, but younger players' teeth are still changing, so plan to replace their guard more often. Athletes with braces can get AlienGuards, but their dentist needs to take the impression instead of using our at-home kit, so the braces don't get damaged. Your dentist can take an impression or 3D scan, then ship it to us or email it to impressions@alienguards.com.
