Origin

Origin – Custom-Fit Combat Mouthguard
Origin is our combat guard for boxing, MMA, Muay Thai and kickboxing: sports where direct, heavy blows are part of the game. Reinforced impact zones help keep your teeth, gums and jaw protected through every round.

Best for: Boxing, MMA, Muay Thai, kickboxing and other high-contact combat sports.

Key Features:

• 5 mm combat thickness: Origin is 5 mm, the industry standard for competitive combat sports, designed to absorb more force from direct, heavy hits.
• Made from your impression: No size chart and no boiling. We ship you an at-home impression kit, pour a model of your teeth, and pressure-form your guard on it, so it stays in place without slipping.
• Your colors, text, logo or full custom: Clear, white, black, green, red, blue or yellow, or 2–3 colors in stripes or marbled. Add custom text, your logo, or go Apex full custom. A name label inside the guard is available too.
• Fit options: Add Trim for Gag Reflex if you need it, and choose Impression Storage to keep your model on file for future reorders.
• Made in the USA: Finished by hand in our own lab and crafted within 10–14 business days after we receive a good impression, then shipped with tracking.

Want the same 5 mm protection with more breathability and comfort, or a High Impact 6mm option? See Origin Pro, or compare all four models.

A custom boxing and MMA mouthguard

Origin is the guard we recommend in our custom boxing mouthguard guide, the Muay Thai guide and the kickboxing guide, and for the striking side of MMA. For BJJ and wrestling, the 4 mm NanoBite is our pick.

Origin or Origin Pro? Both are 5 mm combat guards made from your impression. On Origin you pick one touch: custom text, your logo, or Apex full custom. Origin Pro is more breathable and comfortable, lets you put a logo and text on the same guard, and offers a High Impact 6mm upgrade.

Gyms and fight teams: order 5 or more guards and get 20% off with team pricing. Youth boxers and fighters: see our kids and youth mouthguard guide.
