Care
Rinse in cool water before and after every use. Brush gently with a soft toothbrush and mild soap, not toothpaste, which is abrasive and can scratch and dull the guard. For a deeper clean, soak it in an effervescent denture or retainer tablet in cool water as the label directs, then rinse. Let it air-dry in a ventilated case, and keep it away from heat (hot water, dishwashers, hot cars, direct sun) so it keeps its shape. No mouthwash, alcohol or bleach.

How does a custom mouthguard fit without a size?
Every AlienGuard is made from an impression of your own teeth. You order, we ship you an at-home impression kit, and we form your guard on a model of your bite. There is no size chart to guess from.
How long does it take?
Your custom mouthguard is crafted within 10–14 business days after we receive a good impression, then shipped with tracking.
I messed up my impression. What now?
Email a photo to support@alienguards.com and we will let you know if it can be used. You can also order a replacement impression kit or extra putty.
Can I wear one with braces?
Yes. Athletes with braces can get AlienGuards, but your dentist needs to take the impression instead of using our at-home kit, so your braces don't get damaged. Your dentist can take an impression or 3D scan, then ship it to us or email it to impressions@alienguards.com. If you have another dental appliance or loose teeth, talk to your dentist before taking an impression.
Can I reorder without a new impression?
Choose Impression Storage when you build, and we keep your model on file for future reorders.
