A custom guard made from your impression is more comfortable and secure than a store-bought guard. It doesn't slip or fall out, so you aren't adjusting it between phases, and it's easier to wear through a full match and training session. Custom guards are thin and precise, so most players breathe and call lineouts normally.

How ordering works

Build your guard online and we ship you an at-home impression kit. Taking the impression takes about 10 minutes, and the putty sets in 2 minutes 30 seconds; the impression guide walks you through it. Mail the impression back to our lab, and your guard is crafted within 10–14 business days after we receive a good impression, then shipped with tracking. Not sure your impression worked? Email a photo to support@alienguards.com and we will tell you if it can be used.

Care

Rinse before and after each use, brush gently, store it in a ventilated case away from heat, and replace it every year, or sooner if it's damaged or worn. Athletes with braces can get AlienGuards, but their dentist needs to take the impression instead of using our at-home kit, so the braces don't get damaged. Your dentist can take an impression or 3D scan, then ship it to us or email it to impressions@alienguards.com.
